Sailing Charter 'The Fast Victory' - Harlingen

The crew is super proud to say that they have won all the official sailing competitions that have been organized for this type of ship multiple times. So yes, it is safe to say that the Fast Victory is indeed the winner of all Tjalk ships in The Netherlands. Not only is she fast, but also very convenient and perfectly equipped of an unforgettable sailing experience in The Netherlands.

About the ship

Built in 1914 this tjalk is a great ship to sail with it. The ship is well balanced allowing it to sail smoothly and fast. The ship is shallow which allows it to sail greater distances making options for sailing trips plentiful. The ship is 23 meters in length, 4,6 meters in width and the draft is only 0,9 meters. The ship is often used in sailing races because of its speed and great mobility.

Layout of the sailing ship

On the deck you will find a spacious and sheltered seating area, here you can sit back and enjoy the sea. From here you have direct access to the accommodation below deck. Here you will find an open salon with light wooden tables, heavy seats which in combination with the white walls looks gorgeous.

The four 2-person cabins and two 4-person cabins can accommodate a total of 16 people to enjoy multiple day trips. There is a comprehensive kitchen with a 5-pit gas stove, fridge and the option for a barbecue.
