'I Hope' - IJsselmeer and Wadden Sea Sailing Charter Ship

This amazing tjalk first sailed the seas back in 1902. It was used as a freight ship, transporting wood, coal and salt to England, Norway and Sweden. In 1989 the ship was renovated and turned into a charter ship. Now she sails on the Wadden Sea and IJsselmeer, welcoming families and friends for an unforgettable sailing holiday in The Netherlands. This sailing vessel is an impressive sight to behold with its 26 meters in length and 5,4 meters in width. Its the perfect ship for a sailing cruise for a large group of friends or family.

Layout of the sailing ship

Enjoy sailing on the deck of this amazing ship from here you have a perfect view of the water around you. Below deck you find a cosy seating area with two large tables where you can sit with your group. Here you can relax after a day at sea, play games and enjoy each others company.

The two 4-person cabins and six 2-person cabins can accommodate a total of 20 people to enjoy multiple day trips. There are two bathrooms and two toilets on the ship. There is a comprehensive kitchen with a 6 pit gas stove, oven, fridge and a BBQ.
